Well used by the Aborigines in its native Australia and known as a ‘cure for all’, it was traditionally used to remedy a fever and a cold, as well as for wounds and infections. It is now a key ingredient in many commercial treatments to relieve respiratory ailments, as well as muscle and joint relief balms, and is fast becoming a staple ingredient in dental products. Eucalyptus supports the healing of cuts, bites, sores and abrasions, and is also an ideal cleaner and laundry freshener. It has a soothing effect on body and mind.
